While the earlier New Jersey Devil's postcard sets (1983 and 1984) had 25 cards, this set had only 10 players. The previous sets used photographs by Richard Pilling who was the New Jersey Devil's official team photographer. Though he was still the team's photographer until 1986 he is not mentioned on these postcards. Note also that there is no New Jersey Devils logo at the bottom of the card as there was in the 1983-84 and 1984-85 series. Interesting write up about the set on Puck Junk web site.
