Part of a set of 8 different postcards issued by THE POSTCARD FACTORY, Markham, Ontario to promote the World cup of hockey held from Aug. 26 to Sept 14, 1996. The games were held in 9 different European and North American cities. Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Sweden, U.S.A. Russia and Slovakia participated. The Cup was won in Montreal with team USA beating team Canada 5-2.
