In the 1977 movie "Slap Shot" the Charlestown Chiefs play a minor-league hockey in the Federal League that is based on the real-life hockey team of the Johnstown Jets, who played in the North American Hockey League from 1973 until 1977. In 1975 the Johnstown Jets won the Lockhart Cup.
